A Level
The University of Northern Iowa (UNI) is pleased to provide advanced standing credit for students who complete and pass Cambridge AS and A Level examinations. Students must earn a D grade or higher to receive advanced credit.
Information on how courses and credits are provided to students is below:
The amount of credit awarded corresponds to the amount for a normal two-semester series in the UNI curriculum for A level examinations. The amount of credit awarded corresponds to the amount for a normal one-semester course in the UNI curriculum for AS level examinations. Students who take AS and A level examinations will only receive credit for the A level exam. UNI’s advanced standing credit policy ensures students are recognized for their college-level work accomplished during their secondary studies. These credits will satisfy university graduation requirements and will result in a savings of time and money.
